Best Organic Chicken Hot Dog Recipe

Grilled Organic All-Chicken Hotdog with Lowfat Spicy Slaw
Serves 4
- 4 all-chicken hotdogs
- 4 whole-grain hotdog rolls, warmed or toasted
- Grain mustard, to taste
- 2 cups finely shredded green cabbage
- 2 cups finely shredded red cabbage
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- 3 tablespoons buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
- ½ teaspoon Wasabi paste
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- Course sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to season
To make slaw, mix the cabbages and carrots in a large bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, yogurt or sour cream, Wasabi, and vinegar. Toss dressing and slaw well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
While slaw is chilling, prepare grill or preheat grill pan.
Grill hotdogs until nicely charred. Spread mustard on buns. Set a hotdog inside each bun and serve with slaw alongside.
